Why aren't there any Diggnation Meetup.com groups???

I went on Meetup.com for the first time today and was surprised to find that there are no Diggnation meetup groups. There's a few TechTV groups and ever a Slashdot group with over 800 members.

If I start one here in NYC, would anyone join and go to a meetup?? Any NYers out there???
